Membership Types

Los Altos Golf and Country Club offers four types of membership:

Proprietary Memberships are designed for Members and immediate family, (including children under age 25), who want the full use of all Club facilities.  Because this membership holds a proprietary interest, it is the only membership that has voting rights and must be sold or transferred upon resignation.  Likewise, Proprietary Memberships only become available when an existing member wishes to sell.

Social Memberships are designed for Members and immediate family, (including children under age 25), who want the full use of all Clubhouse, Swimming Pool, Fitness and Tennis facilities of the Club.  Social Members do not have golfing privileges but may golf as a guest of a Proprietary Member as per our guest policy.

Young Professional Memberships are designed for Members between the ages of 25-42 and immediate family, (including children under age 25), who want full use of all Club facilities, including golf. This membership pays reduced fees as they work their way towards full Proprietary membership.

Intermediate Memberships are available to adult children of Proprietary Members, between the ages of 25 to 42.  This membership entitles the holder and their immediate family members, (including children under age 25), the use of all club facilities, including golf on a limited basis.  This membership pays reduced dues and minimums.
